Workation in Majorca

Casa Laura – with private parking – is situated in the historical centre of Pollença. It offers an authentic Majorcan experience in an impressive and idyllic town. As is it a spacious house its also perfect for people who want to go on workation in Majorca.
Full of character and charm, this Majorcan stone townhouse has both original and modern features. It has been restored to a high standard, and has been decorated with love and attention to detail. The house has plenty of outdoor space where you can soak up the sun. The cosy courtyard with private pool and the fantastic roof terrace will allow you to spend your summer holiday outdoors. The ground floor benefits from a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The top floor is an independent loft with another double bedroom, a bathroom, a large living/dining room and a kitchen.
Casa Laura is situated right in the heart of the lovely old town, very close to the main square. The Sunday market attracts visitors with its amazing fruit, food and flower stalls, which bring an abundance of colour and life to the main square. At the same time, numerous artisan stalls line the side streets of the town and live music is performed, creating a truly memorable experience. The beautiful sandy beaches are just a ten-minute drive away.

Casa Laura ist ein wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtetes Stadthaus im Herzen Pollencas. Man findet großzügig gestaltete Schlafzimmer, umfangreich ausgestattete Küchen und einen sehr gemütlichen Patio vor. Eine tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer des gemütlichen Städtchens rundet das Ganze ab. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Der idyllische Marktplatz, mit seinem bunten Treiben ist gleich um die Ecke und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Hier gibt es schöne und gute Restaurants und Bars, wie auch in den umliegenden Gassen. Ein Muss – der sonntägliche Markt. Die Gegend rund um Pollenca bietet schöne Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und auch zum Meer ist es nicht weit. Martina ist eine super Gastgeberin, die tolle Tipps und Anregungen vorrätig hat und immer ansprechbar ist. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit in die Casa Laura zurückkehren.

Wir, drei Radler aus dem Rheinland, haben eine wunderbare Woche in Pollença und in dieser außergewöhnlichen Unterkunft verbracht. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin Martina war bereits im Vorfeld sehr nett und umfassend, alle unsere Fragen wurden prompt und ausführlich beantwortet. Die Fotos machten bereits Lust auf dieses Haus, und die Wirklichkeit hat uns wahrhaftig nicht enttäuscht. Die zentrale Lage, wenige hundert Meter von der Placa Major und der gigantischen „Calvarien-Treppe“ mit Cafés, Restaurants und Bars ist fantastisch. Auch die empfohlenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen fußläufig nur wenige Minuten entfernt, sodass die Selbstversorgung auch ohne Auto wunderbar geklappt hat. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal an Martina, wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Guten Morgen, liebe Frau Prager,
Der Urlaub war trotz des Wetters sehr erholsam, wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht: ausschlafen, lesen, schwimmen – das Wasser ist noch so schön warm.
Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön und liegt toll! Wir haben oft im Patio gesessen. Der Blick auf den Kirchturm ist einmalig! Das Auto war fast die ganze Zeit im Parkhaus – das ist wirklich ein tolles “Zubehör” zum Haus. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir hatten alles, was wir brauchen. Wir kommen wieder,

Hallo Frau Prager,
wir sind gut erholt aus dem Urlaub zurück gekehrt. Wir haben uns in der Casa Laura sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles sauber und gepflegt und schön dekoriert. Kein typisches Ferienhaus. Viel Platz für 6 Personen. Wir haben jeden Abend unseren Gute Nacht Trunk auf der Dachterrasse genossen – mit Blick in diesen wunderbaren Sternenhimmel. Den Garagenstellplatz haben wir immer genutzt – perfekt. Es war toll, wir kommen wieder und empfehlen Sie gerne weiter.

Casa Laura ist natürlich ein tolles Domizil. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch weil auf Ansprache sehr schnell reagiert wurde.

Terms & Conditions workation in Majorca

• With sending an e-mail you inquire if the holiday home is available.
• As fast as possible contacto-mallorca will inform you about the availability about the object.
• If you want to book you will get the confirmation and you have to make a first payment. Before your arrival your will get the instructions how to arrive at your holiday home.

I.
contacto-mallorca acts as an agent for a firm booking, the binding conclusion of a rental agreement for a holiday home in Majorca chosen by the Tenant.
II. The rental price of the rental property shown on the internet includes the agency fee for contacto-mallorca. However, the agency fee and the rent are to be paid separately. The agency fee is to be paid directly to contacto-mallorca, the rental costs on arrival at the rental property to the landlord or his authorised representative or by bank transfer.
III.
The account payment has to be made within a week after signing this contract. After receipt of the deposit according to the agreement, but no later than seven days prior to departure, contacto-mallorca will send the tenant the documents for the property in writing (per mail, fax or email) including a location plan and directions.
The tenant agrees to give contacto-mallorca in time, but no later than seven days prior to his arrival in Majorca his estimated time of arrival and his mobile number.
IV.
The tenant can withdraw from this agreement any time before the rental commences. The cancellation has to be made in writing to contacto-mallorca, registered mail or email will do in order to be effective. The cancellation will take effect the day contacto-mallorca receives the statement. In the event of a cancellation of contract prior to the commencement of the rental contacto-mallorca strives to find another tenant under the same terms of the contract for the agreed period. Provided that contacto-mallorca will find another tenant for the same period under the same terms of the contract, 10 % of the agreed rental fee will become due as a flat rate reimbursement of expenses regardless of the date of cancellation.

In the event of cancelling the contract the tenant agrees to pay the following cancellation fees:

• If the tenant cancels this agreement more than sixty-one days prior to the commencement of the rental, the tenant pays 20 % of the agreed rental fee.
• If the tenant cancels this agreement less than sixty, but more than 31 days prior to the commencement of the rental, the tenant pays 50 % of the agreed rental fee.
• For a cancellation of this agreement less than thirty, the tenant pays the agreed rental fee.

VI.
The tenant is entitled to use the whole rented property including furniture and commodities. The tenant shall take all- reasonable care of the property including all utensils, fixtures, fittings and equipment on, in or about the premises. The tenant shall be liable for any losses or damages caused carelessly or intentionally to the property or any part thereof or any of the chattels therein that may occur during the tenant’s occupation of the property. The tenant shall also be held responsible for any negligence on part of his children, guests or other companions.
VII.
The tenant must pay the rental price directly on site, on arrival at the rental property in cash to the landlord or his authorised representative, or by bank transfer. Heating and electricity costs will be charged separately as a lump sum at the end of the rental period (depending on the property – see description of property).
VIII.
In the event of defaults occurring during the rental period the tenant is obliged to alert contacto-mallorca immediately to a default or damage at the property, including proper complaints of the tenant. Defaults during the rental period and tenant’s complaints shall be notified in writing to be effective. If the tenant doesn’t meet this obligation to disclosure or only does so insufficiently, the raising of claims due to defaults or complaints is excluded.
During tenancy contacto-mallorca is not liable for damages to property and persons suffered by the tenant during the rental; the same applies for the children, guests and companions of the Tenant.
IX.
The provision of additional beds or cots requires written prior agreement.
Pets will only be allowed at the premises following written prior consent.
Check-in time for the property is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. The property has to be left broom clean.
X.
Under no circumstances may the number of persons at the property exceed the maximum number of persons as stated in the agreement. In case of a tenant-induced over-occupancy, which has not been previously cleared, contacto-mallorca is entitled to refuse the completion of this agreement unless the tenant provides alternative local accommodations for the extra guests at his own expense.
XI.
Any changes and amendments to this agreement shall be in writing to be legally binding, or rather confirmed in writing by contacto-mallorca.
Should any part of the present agreement become invalid, the validity of the present agreement shall remain unaffected. In such case the invalid provision(s) shall be replaced by the provisions of the applicable law. The same applies in case of a loophole in the contract.

For this agreement applies the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this agreement is Berlin.
