They speak their own dialect, celebrate their local customs with dedication and support the fine arts.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"txt-weiss txt-18\">The romantic winding lanes and steps lined with natural stone house facades, pleasant restaurants and small shops date back to the time of the Moors and are perfect for a leisurely stroll through the historic old town. At the Pla\u00e7a Mayor, in the heart of Pollensa, the area between the church and the Club Pollen\u00e7a pulsates with life. Young and old meet here, to see and be seen. It\u2019s a great place to spend some time, and you can enjoy the flair of this beautiful town from the terrace of the Ca\u2019n Moixet (\u2018Pollensa\u2019s living room\u2019). Looking out at the view of the Puig de Maria (Pollensa\u2019s local mountain, complete with monastery), any traveller will immediately feel at home.
