Beach Holidays Majorca

Even in summer, the Caribbean-like beaches of Pollença and Alcudia do not get overcrowded. Families love the gently sloping sands and turquoise waters of Cala San Vicente, Puerto Pollença, Formentor and Alcudia Bay. Here you can swim, kayak, sail, surf, kitesurf or dive.

Port Pollensa

A long sandy beach stretches around the bay. Families with children love the wide, gently sloping sands and turquoise water. Pollença Bay is a popular area for water sports enthusiasts and has a sailing and kitesurfing school.

Formentor

There are three things that make the Formentor peninsula so attractive: the spectacular scenery – with great walking trails and small bays, the magnificent view from the cape and the famous Hotel Formentor with its pretty beach, which is just a boat ride away from Puerto Pollença. The former hotel beach may be a little narrow, but it more than makes up for this in terms of atmosphere.

Cala San Vicente

Cala Sant Vicenç offers a great deal of variety for water sports enthusiasts. The coves are framed by spectacular rock formations which are in fact the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana. There are four beaches here: Cala Barques, Cala Clara, Cala Molins and Cala Carbó. The first three are known for their fine white sand, and their crystal clear water makes them popular with divers and snorkelers. At Cala Molins, you can rent a kayak or join one of the organised tours.

Playa de Muro

An approximately six-kilometre-long section of beach stretches between Puerto Alcudia and Can Picafort. At Playa de Muro, the bathing conditions are ideal for non-swimmers. The beach slopes very gently into the water and waves are rare. Those who want to swim will need to wade a little further from the shore. Beach Holidays Majorca
